    Hi.
Many studies of people that have completely gone off of antidepressants show that they do lose weight if they had gained it. However, it is also very individual. You may lose all or just some of the weight you gained.
Since you gained alot, chances are you will lose alot. Help your weight loss by eating well and exercising. Then for sure, you will lose it.
I had a friend who lost all the weight she gained PLUS more after she went of Paxil.
    Good luck!

I gained a lot of weight from zoloft. I am off and have been for a while now. Not a single pound budged. But I guess it is just depending on the person. I changed my routine to exercise more and adjusted my diet with no luck.

I lost 10 pounds when I switched from Prozac to Wellbutrin. You should lose weight when you stop, too especially if you are using one of the Prozac-type drugs.
